DELF-DALF Session March 2024

Dear Student,

AFD is organising DELF-DALF test sessions four times yearly, following a COVID-19 sanitary protocol. Following the health sanitary context, new processes and regulations were implemented (limited number of registrations by level, COVID-19 safety protocol, revised terms and conditions, etc.).

Our next DELF examination session will be held in March 2024; code session: 2024-03-T (Tout public – Adults A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2); code session: 2024-03-J (Junior – Adolescents A1, A2, B1 and B2) and code session: 2024-03-E (Prim– Enfants Prim A1.1 and Prim A1) for the students with limited capacity.

Please note that there are limited seats available for every level. The registration will end once the registration quota has been reached (first-come, first-served basis).

Please consult the calendar/fees and the new procedures (requirements/terms and conditions).

Registration starts on 16 January 2024 and ends on 02 February 2024.

The registration is for candidates currently residing in Bangladesh only. The candidate must come by him/herself to complete the enrolment procedure and sign the registration form at AFD Dhanmondi (test venue). No third party / nominated person will be authorised to register / enrol the candidate. Registration by email is not accepted.

NB: AFD reserves the right to cancel/postpone the examination if the situation demands it.

Description

Présentation générale

Les diplômes DELF et DALF ont été créés par arrêté ministériel le 22 mai 1985.

En 2005, le DELF et le DALF sont harmonisés sur les niveaux du Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues. Il existe 7 diplômes : DELF A1.1, DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2, DALF C1 et DALF C2.

Les examens se présentent sous la forme de trois versions, identiques en termes de difficultés et de niveau de compétences :

  • la version tout public (niveaux A1 à C2);
  • la version junior/scolaire (niveaux A1 à B2);
  • la version Prim (niveaux A1.1 à A2).

 

Les examens DELF et DALF sont passés dans 173 pays et dans plus de 1 270 centres d’examen en activité en France et dans le monde.

Depuis la création des diplômes en 1985, plus de 8 000 000 de candidats se sont inscrits aux sessions DELF et DALF, avec un taux de réussite moyen supérieur à 80%. Pour la version tout public, les candidats s’inscrivent en majorité au DELF B2. Il s’agit d’un diplôme à fort enjeu facilitant la mobilité professionnelle et universitaire. Les candidats aux examens DELF Prim s’inscrivent majoritairement au niveau A1. Pour le DELF junior / scolaire, les candidats au niveau A2 sont les plus nombreux.

Le département évaluation et certifications de France Éducation international est titulaire de la norme ISO 9001:2015. Cette norme garantit l’organisation efficace des processus de développement, de gestion et de conception des examens du DELF et du DALF.

Les diplômes DELF possèdent le label Q-Mark d’ALTE, un label qui valide le respect des 17 critères de qualité fixés pour les certifications de langue étrangère par l’association ALTE.

The DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates.

There are six separate diplomas that correspond to the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), which the Council of Europe administers.
