Film festival- "Movies that Matter"

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands commenced the “Movies that Matter” Inauguration ceremony during Human Rights week. This mini film-festival began at the Shilpakala Fine Arts Auditorium with the screening of the thought-provoking film, “The Killing of a Journalist,” which delves into the investigation of a journalist’s murder in Slovakia. The film screening was enhanced by the musical accompaniment of the renowned Bangladeshi band, “Joler Gaan.”
Alliance Française de Dhaka has collaborated with Embassy of the Netherlands in Bangladesh to present a captivating three-day mini-film festival. This exciting event will showcase a total of five movies, which will be screened at the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka in Dhanmondi on the 12th and 13th of December.
 

Film Screening schedule:

12 December

  • The Story of Bones ( 3 pm to 4:30 pm)
  • Life of Nobody (5:00 pm to 7 pm) The 20 minutes documentary will be followed by a panel discussion

13 December

Mama Bears (3 pm to 4:30)

Seven Winters in Tehran (5:00  pm to7:00)
