‘শিকড়ের গল্প – Song of Roots’ is a contemporary art exhibition presented by Shwasmul Arts, a contemporary art platform located in Khulna, Bangladesh. Curated by Khandaker Nasir Ahmmed and coordinated by Moni Majhi and Bishwajit Roy, the exhibition displays a selection of works from the collaborative artistic journey of members of Shwasmul Arts. Artists Amiable Ami, Bishwajit Roy, Khairul Hasan, Lubna Charja, Moni Majhi, Muhaimina, Sumana Akter and Khandaker Nasir Ahmmed are participants of the exhibition.   The artists have displayed a large number of outdoor installations. Through the artworks, they have presented the diverse stories of different communities living in the Sunderbans region. An installation featuring dolls depicts the culture of the communities, and other installations address topics such as climate change and its impact on coastal communities, impact of insecticides on the environment and more. The event also features performing art shows, video presentations and more.
